Reviews Overview

Most Liked

Customers rave about the tender and flavorful mixed grill, often describing it as a standout dish that satisfactorily rivals anything found in Turkey. The rich and diverse menu keeps diners coming back for more, with notable mentions of the warm flatbreads and delicious dips that perfectly complement the kebabs. The Baklava and Turkish coffee are also fan favorites, making them essential parts of the meal. Cleanliness is a highlight, with many praising the tidy interiors and well-maintained facilities. Exceptional service rounds out the positive experiences, with staff noted for their attentiveness and helpfulness, ensuring every guest feels welcome and enjoyed.

Most Disliked

While most experiences are positive, there are a few areas that customers feel could enhance their visits. Some diners reported the absence of dessert menus after meals, leaving them disappointed and unable to indulge in sweet treats. A few service delays on busy nights have prompted feedback, especially when it comes to longer waits for both food and drinks. It's worth noting that during peak times—particularly Friday evenings—the restaurant can reach full capacity, which may lead to a bustling atmosphere that some might find overwhelming. Regulars suggest calling ahead during peak times for better dining experiences and faster services.

Wow! We’ve driven past this place many times over the years heading up to the Suffolk Coast from London and always kicked ourselves for stopping off earlier on the A12 at the bog standard services for low quality grub. Not today! We held on and finally stopped by and boy, we were absolutely blown away by the quality. The Mixed Grill was so tender flavoursome and perfectly marinated. Every mouthful a joy and the dips, breads and meze to die for, we felt totally transported to Turkey, where to date my wife says she had her favourite ever meals. This place is a real gem, don’t be put off by the A-road location, and hang on for a stop off here rather than the other Burger King, McDonald’s fare, it’s a wonder. They’ve got an amazing charcoal grill and certainly know how to use it! Not to mention the Baklava and rice pudding and Turkish coffee to finish, can’t wait to come back!!!! Super clean toilet facilities too.

Great food that exceeded our expectations, big portions. Restaurant nice inside and clean. Only negative was that we did not get offered a dessert menu at any point after finishing our meal 20 minutes previously.

Just had an amazing meal here. Lovely place inside. Soooooo clean. Staff was amazing and the area the food is prepared and cooked in is so nice. U must try as the food is next level. And the wine list was very good. Please book as it gets very busy on weekends. Many thanks

A hidden gem 💎 The service was impeccable, taken care of from the moment I stepped inside, seated and menu provided, drinks were ice cold. The food is exquisite 👌 Well seasoned lamb and chicken, the salad was well prepared and the flat bread was warm and delicious. The accompanying chili and garlic sauces were perfect, not too hot nor overpowering. Top tier dining experience, will certainly be coming back.

We have drove past this place many times and finally had the opportunity to go in. It was fairly pricey but the food was excellent and the portions very generous! Highly recommend the sarma beyti. Service was great too! Will be going back!

We had a lovely meal here, fantastic food and very friendly service. Amazing what they’ve done with the old “Happy Eater” building, sadly that exterior is the only thing that lets it down, hence lower atmosphere score. Would definitely go again and great for guests staying at the travelodge on the other side of the carriageway.
